By the sounds of it, Dundee Utd at least deserved a draw.
Still a long way to go, they'll be more points dropped by Rangers and Celtic over the next few month.
Don't you even fucking dare talk to me about bottling it. How are Arsenal doing anyway?

Edit: Some idiot Rangers fan sent a comment to the BBC saying: "As usual Dundee United play out of their skins against Rangers but as is the norm don't bother against other teams they should hang their heads in shame."
Aye, that's how they've managed to go eight games unbeaten! |

Arsenal are the biggest bottle merchants ever.

As for Stoke? It's no surprise. Any time Arsenal come up against strong and physical sides they get rolled over. Think of Bolton a few years ago when Arsenal never seemed to beat them, and whenever they come up against that they try and adjust to it instead of playing their own game, and it never works. Quote:

New guy comes in, gives some confidence to players who were needing it and they beat Bolton 2-0 in his first game. They've also just beaten Liverpool coming from behind when losing and winning it in the last minute. Quote:

I do think it's time for Wenger to go. In my opinion he's taken Arsenal as far as he can and we need someone to take the youth he's developed and surround them with experienced players that've been brought in. Quote:

They're not bottle merchants, they have a manager who keeps costing them points by making shit substitutions. Using your theory Liverpool are bottle merchants because Spurs came back from behind against them as well. |

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) Mon eh Chelsea. They will win the EPL this year. Fucked the night but.
Liverpool and Arsenal are bottle merchants in the EPL compared to Man Yoo and Chelsea. Arsenal, started out amazing last season, bottled out near the end. Liverpool will do the same this year.

Liverpool will do the same this year. | So because Arsenal and Liverpool don't spunk huge amounts of money on the majority of their starting XI like Manchester United and Chelsea do they're bottlers? Arsenal's first team squad is tiny in comparison to United and Chelsea and they're not on the same level by a long shot. Arsenal are a top four team, maybe, but I myself know that simply means they're going to finish third or fourth most seasons.
Arsenal started out well last season and faded away after injuries to some of the experienced players like Eduardo and had to rely on the likes of Bendtner when Adebayor the only experienced striker at the club hit a dry spell. It's just that Arsenal don't go out spending £30m on the likes of Berbatov, Rooney, Ferdinand or £20m on the likes of Carrick, Hargreaves, Nani, Anderson, Ronaldo etc.
I love the Arsenal style, I just wish they'd compliment that with experience and they'd have a chance of challenging the top two.
Hardly bottlers though. Tonight the mighty Rangers almost lost at home in a game they had to win to avoid falling behind in the league, right after winning big at the weekend. Boyd missed a fair few chances and Mendes seemed to disappear from the game in the second half. Ferguson came on.. God only knows why, and did nothing and they took off Novo for him who was the only player providing some width. |

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) The amount of idle crap that gets discussed over these games astounds me. Really.
I mean can we no talk about relevant stuff instead of calling teams bottle merchants 10 games into the league?

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) I'm talking over the past few years. If Liverpool win the league this year, i'll eat my hats.
Stew, you talk as if you expected Dundee Utd to just lie down to us. Give them some credit, their kepper made some amazing saves from Boyd and played well. They always give us a game. We almost lost, yep. Yet you are saying Rangers bottled it because we came from behind twice to draw level. As Mr T would say, shut up, fool.
Maybe it might seem like 2 points dropped to some people but i'm not too overly upset. I know over a season we'll drop points. You can't win every game and i'm just glad we didn't lose.

Some of their players failed to turn up and they struggled and missed chances left, right and centre. |

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) That's not bottling it. Bottling would have been 1-0 up and losing 2-1/3-2. We came back twice. You can't accuse Rangers of bottling it by managing to draw instead of losing. We would have lost that game if we had no bottle. Heads would have gone down and we would have switched off but Rangers and Dundee Utd both played well.
You think its the Old Firm's god given right to beat every team in the SPL every week aye? You are aff yer nut.

Is it not something like 23 years since the league was won by a club out with the OF?
