You think its the Old Firm's god given right to beat every team in the SPL every week aye? You are aff yer nut. | Bottling it is not winning a game that was there for the taking. Two offside goals and countless chances missed.
As for the last part. No, I don't. Gonna stop mashing the keyboard for something new that I've somehow said? Jesus.
This is going to go round in circles though. Myself and Jaemi say Rangers bottled the chance to catch up on Celtic, and Rangers messageboards and yourself are trying to spin it as a point gained. |

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) I'm not trying to spin it around bud. How many times do I need to say salvaging a point in the last minute doesn't classify as bottling it.
Being 1 up and losing 2 last minute goals - bottling it.
Being 4-2 up with 1 min to go and drawing 4-4 - bottling it.
Being 3-2 down and drawing 3-3 - point saved.
I thought we were beat when it went into injury time. As in we weren't going to get anything. You know, nil points?
Ollie, I see where you are coming from but you can't expect to win every game you play. You always know you'll get games which will be tough.
HAUD ON. Did Celtic not draw with Dundee Utd this season, Stew? And held 0-0 aff Aalborg? And thrashed 4-2 off home? Are those all examples of bottling it?

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) it's defo 2 points dropped, rather than 1 point gained imo, but i wouldn't say coming back to salvage a point is bottling it. |

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) My initial feeling after the game was "thank fuck we didn't lose, least we got a draw" not "ARGH, we should have won that!".
The league hasn't just been lost on that game. If it comes to the league being lost by 2 points i'll be more raging at the St Mirren result or being fucked out of 2 points against Aberdeen at the start of the season.

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) @Awright - No offence, but I can't be arsed explaining about all the games you mentioned. You've already went on about Liverpool and Arsenal, I'll be buggered if I'm talking about Celtic as well when they never played tonight either.
Anyway, trouble in Rome according to Sky.
Roma and Chelsea fans, who'd have thought it, eh? |

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) Aye just watched them. Their keeper made some quality saves. The 2nd and 3rd goals we lost were a bit poor to lose. We had enough chances to win it probably. But 3-3 is a fair result I suppose.
Cannae complain to draw, what with losing 3 goals at home.
I think we should stick Alexander back in goals. I don't think McGreggor looks steady atm.

| Re: Today's Football (Round 2) Bit of a bad call by Smith to drop Alexander after his recent good form for McGregor, I'd say.
Anyway, let's unite and slag off other teams on this historic night! Namely Man United's idiot boss. He's at it again: Quote:
Sir Alex Ferguson is refusing to speak to Sky TV after a row over remarks criticising his England striker Wayne Rooney.
Manchester United boss Fergie will not co-operate with Sky at tonight’s Battle of Britain clash against Celtic.
Fergie is annoyed with two pundits – former Liverpool star Phil Thompson and Paul Merson – and has warned Sky they can forget about him for the forseeable future.
Thompson claimed Rooney should have been sent off for kissing the United badge when he went back to Everton – and Merson said Rooney might have seen red against Hull.
...
Sky, midway through their £1.3billion three-year Premier League deal, hope to broker a peace deal before Saturday’s Arsenal v United showdown.
