I heard he wasn't offered a new deal (in the Herald yesterday). I like Hartley, he's a good player - i thought you would've kept him on. JVoH on the other hand is pure shite.

I think it was a mutual thing. Strachan and Mowbray are similar in that they want a midfield pairing that's young and will be a mainstay of the team. Hartley does a specific role, and does it very well.... but I couldn't see him being used anything other than sparingly in the new team. | |

A fit Owen, is a great striker.
It's good business for all involved.
Rumours are saying that he'll be on about 20-40k a week, with bonuses bringing it upto his usually 90-100 if he stays fit, plays and/or scores.
