Looked to me like you had them the other way round, I suppose it depends on how you read it.

Even that at list, Real are still looking at players like Clichy, Vidic, Maicon (Who would go right, and Ramos would step in to CB).

But my original point was that Real madrid still have more than decent cover for defense on that alone. Then Captain Barca jumps up with EL OPINIONIO DE ULTIMATE. Sometimes people are just too wound up looking for a wee arguement

They are in pot 2 thought bud. Which means, we'd get a big english team too. Now, it's nice getting into the CL n all, but I don't want embarassed on "europes biggest stage".

Well then your point is still wrong, because most of those players are either past their best, terrible to begin with, or having poor seasons. Ramos had a terrible season this year, topped off with being absolutely useless in the Confederations Cup. He was solely to blame for a couple of the goals Spain conceded.

One thing that ALWAYS pisses me off is how an arm-chair football fan can sit there and call professional football players who play for world famous clubs "mediocre" ... "rubbish" ... "terrible."

I mean, c'mon... if players like Marcello, Garay, etc, are "mediocre" then what does that make players who play for SPL clubs? and the 100's of other leagues out there.

A bit of context would be nice... jeez.

I'm with Timmy on this one. Real Madrid have plenty of back-up in defence however could do with one big signing. Saying that... I think Albiol will become a main-stay in their defence.
