Sky Sports just try and make us believe that it's the best league in the World with their SUPER SUNDAY's and all that shite. Too many times they've talked a game up and it fails to impress anyone other than Andy Gray and Jamie 'top, top player' Redknapp.
Spainsh league is always entertaining. Like Ronaldo said 'Even the smaller teams come and try to play football'.
Aye. I'd go for that.
Aye that's why.
Managers like Sam Allardyce and their horrific "football" wouldn't get a look in with the like of the spanish or italians. But that brand of football is played in 80% of England.
There's a big rant to be had here, but I'm too tired at the moment.
But that's why England fail to do well in national tournaments.
And that's why they brought in Cappello.
Do it or don't. I've got places to be.
Aye and seeing as Hughes has the money to throw around it's a fair bet that a mighty ego boosting salary might bring back some of the form that saw him bang in 30 goals in 07/08.
Does mean Arsenal wont have a proven out and out goalscorer on thier books, but that aside they don't exactly lack attacking options.
arms my only ornamentmy only rest - the fight
Arsenal are a bit lightweight these days, they're missing a Keown or Adams at the back and there seems to be always someone who wants out. Arshavin will start angling for a move to La Liga soon enough, Toure will probably end up at Man City or playing in Spain. Without Adebayor they're left with players who are great ball players but who are very similar in stature, Rosicky, Van Persie, Fabregas, Arshavin etc.
Bendtner is pish, he won't be able to help them to a top 4 finish. He should be like Adebayor but his finishing is awful. These comments will probably come back to haunt me.
Think he's putting all his eggs in one basket and hoping Eduardo can do the job.

Arsenal will sign a striker...or two.

lolDean Furman has expressed his disappointment at the way his time at Rangers ended. The midfielder returned to Ibrox in the summer following a loan season at Bradford City, confident of pushing his way into Walter Smith's first-team plans.
Instead, the 21 year-old was only afforded a one-year contract and elected to sign for Oldham Athletic instead.
"Going back to Rangers was an option and they offered me a contract," he told the Herald. "But I wasn't happy with the deal they offered me. I felt it was just done to make sure they would get some compensation if I was sold. I thought I had a good season out on loan and was in a position to come back and force my way into the first-team set-up.
"I read the manager saying they were looking to trim the first-team squad and so I thought players like myself, Rory Loy, and Steven Lennon etc could step in to the gap. I thought this was a chance for me to push myself into the first team. But I was only offered a one-year deal which was a real disappointment.
"Having been away for a year and played more than 30 first-team games, I didn't want to go back to playing reserve team football again. I had got used to playing in front of crowds and the extra pressure that brings and I wanted to keep doing that."
The former Chelsea youth player now hopes his former team-mates will get their chance at Ibrox this season. "Some of the boys I played with like Rory and Steven are of an age now where they will want to be playing regularly, whether that's at Rangers or somewhere else. It's always difficult to push through at a big club as they have international players and there is a lot of pressure on the team to succeed.
"I'm hoping, though, that some of my age group can make the grade as they are certainly good enough."

Walter Smith is a wank i fucking hate the guy with a passion he NEVER gives youth a chance he'll probibly buy a fucking 34 year old has been before the transfair window shuts![]()
Granted he's not the best at giving youth a chance, but you can't say he NEVER gives youth a chance.
It's easier to give youth a chance if you have a team full of experienced players, but I think our average age is 24/25.
End of the day, I think Walter is better at judging the rangers youth than me or you. Furman done well in league 2, but thats all it is, league 2. Charlie done well for blackpool in the championship, but still I don't see everyone ranting and raving he's not back in the first team.
If you're good enough, you're old enough. Players like Wilson, Fleck and Aaron have all impressed Walter, and you can see he praises them highly, but I still don't believe they are ready for SPL yet. I'd rather play the 34/38year olds you're moaning about playing and win the league, rather than sticking out a youth team and becoming 3rd 4th or worse.

Yes, anytime Walter discusses the future of the club, their names are always mentioned. As I said after that, I don't believe they are ready for the SPL yet (for fighting for a championship) and obviously neither does Walter.
Difference between the likes of Celtic and Rangers, and the rest of the SPL is, we are always competing for the top spot. Teams like Hibs, Falkirk Hamilton can run a few risks, and stick their young players out and learn the trade earlier than a youngster at the old firm.
