Velicka isn't dead wood. He's a good player. Obviously no plans for him to be in the team. But by no means dead wood.
Sad to see him injuried badly. Always liked him and he got some really important goals towards the end of last season.

Altho Eck was never a good judge of a player and a few of the players that never worked for him went onto bigger and better things. Kishnashvilli, Lovenkrands, Ball, Now Soti.

Aye, deleted the post as i went back to the previous page. I can't see him being good for Liverpool. Wouldn't say Lovenkrands and Ball went onto bigger and better things - Lovenkrands went to Schalke, didn't get a sniff and then got relegated with Newcastle. Ball doesn't even have a club now.
