I expect Paul Sturrock to take over at Aberdeen and O'Leary to be at Celtic so I expect another glorious season with McGhee at the helm at Fir Park (now with grass).
I'd be sad to see him go for sure. He's got us playing some fantastic stuff and has lead the club out of the mire of relegation battles to Europe and a third place finish. He's doen a great job but he was allowed to bring in some top players like Hughes and Porter. I expect Hughes to go now so the main sparks in our 3rd place finishing side are now gone (Hughes, Porter and McCormack) but with those players and Graeme Smith and Bob Malcolm going we should have cleared soem wages for replacements. If he can get in the right players again we should have a great season in teh mix for top 6 at least.
If he doesn't bring in the right players to replace Hughes and Porter we are going to struggle and be in the mix with the dross, not real relegation battle but no danger of top 6 either.
If he goes, I'll be surprised and I don't know who we should get in. Lambert maybe but I'd prefer Sturrock or Nijholt.

| Re: The OFFICIAL Scottish Football Thread (Non OF) Gutted that Caley went down, they're my second team...
although on the bright side, it means that they'll probably get promoted
back up and stop the dirty Jags getting back into the SPL

On 2 August 2008 Sturrock caused controversy following a pre-season friendly with his former side, Dundee United. Returning to the pitch to address the Tangerines fans who had stayed behind to salute their hero, Sturrock referred to United's city rivals as "Scumdee bastards".
| I'm warming to him already. |
