I'm really not fussed.
Petrie is a smart businessman... and in today's football climate that's what every club needs.

If I started a general thread about capitalism in football I'd of went to the poltics board.
football doesn't need business men, full stop, it's just what you think it needs...
Its a working class game for the working class. |

No transfers or anything except when they are out of contract i guess.

Its a working class game for the working class. | There is plenty of football about that doesn't involve businessmen.
You chose to support a team that does.

Its a working class game for the working class. | Are you really as stupid as your posts imply or is it just a gimmick?

Who said that?
I'm just against purely monetary gain at any cost to the team, as is witnessed by hibs and their paltry performance in the league this season from being a team that were challenging 3rd place comfortably.
What's best for hibs the financial institution, isn't the best for hibs the football team.
Hey, just my opinion though. Quote:

You chose to support a team that does. | When I started supporting Celtic the football team, at a young age, you aren't really thinking about "PLCs" and money and shit. You follow the team. Can't help who you support, just got to deal with it, however I reserve the right to have an opinion. Just because "its the done thing" doesn't mean I have to agree with it and "shut up", does it?
I watch non-league football regularly also, by the way.
Lol punk, were you happy when Hugh Scott tried to fucking sell Morton off the map?
Good business acumen, but I bet you weren't fucking crying "good for business" then ya boaby. Quote:

Personal opinion, but I couldn't care less if you can bet or order food from your seat at the emirates stadium. Gimme £10 tickets and a terrace in the pishing rain anyday.

Welcome to the Scottish league | It has everything to do with this;
Telling me to "deal with it" like I shouldn't be unhappy with the modern game...
Did you moan when Hugh Scott tried to run your club off the face off the planet, simply because it made business sense?
Welcome to Scotland, etc. |
