Man U are only signing under 26s so they retain sell on value.
That's been their unofficial stance for years but still hasn't stopped them signing Laurent Blanc, van der Sar and a few other older players for free/cheap to fill a hole. Seeing as their debt is increasing and they've lost two strikers it's an obvious short term solution
