| Re: Champions League 2009/10 Where are the list of teams we could've got?
EDIT: NM I jsut seen it.
I would say that Sporting, Shaktar and possibly Twente are equally as hard as Moscow.
Oh well...It was always going to be hard.

A bit data heavy but 100% reliable.
And yes, Shaktar, Arsenal, Lyon, Sporting, Panathanaikos and possibly Stuttgart are the next round of qualifiers
Dinamo Moscow's a fair draw, if a tough one. They've got a few Russia internationals and a wee while back they sold the other Danny Alves to Zenit St Petersburg for €30 million, so they're moneyed at the moment.

Danny's right though.
If you want to be in it, you've got to beat big teams.

| Re: Champions League 2009/10 Don't get me wrong, it's not the draw I would have chosen, but I take some encouragement from seeing off Moscovite opposition last time we got them even if the result was closer than I would've liked. As others have said, might as well get used to tough opposition now because that's the state of affairs in every round we play.

| Re: Champions League 2009/10 I don't see us getting through this.
I think it's too much of an ask for Mowbray to take his brand new team, through a tie as tough as this on his first go.

| Re: Champions League 2009/10 You lot are going to be a fucking embrassment to scotland on the pitch. (yer already done that off that pitch). See if you sell yer only decent defender AGAIN, you are going to get humped. You not worried you lot have not done anything to bolster the team? I wouldn't be laughing fuck. |

| Re: Champions League 2009/10 S'awright we are doing this thing were we buy a player for a few million then punt him the season after for double it, then do they same.
Cuellar oot. Boughie in.
Boughie oot maybe? Tonel in maybe?
I think we have a no bad team. We played some good stuff last season. Kevin Thomson being back is a huge boost. Naismith back to full fitness and we have yet to get the best oot of him, Edu is smashing and Boyd was playing out his skin towards the end of the season. Same wae Kenny Miller.
All i'm worried about is our defense.
