The score flattered Sevilla. Rangers did pretty damn well against the third team in La Liga considering the only player we brought in was 'rotten' and he cost nowt (the name explains why he cost nothing lol).

Just a pity that every time a Scottish team is in europe we always get the shit refs.....

We were the best team in the first half and did fuck up after we went 2 nil down. Should have got the penalty and the ref should never have gave Sevilla the free kick which resulted in the first goal.

Lol at yer sad attempts to build pride after getting humped. I would say it was 50/50 the first half, considring they did have the best chance and should have scored the first half. Waited too long to make a change and after the second goal the took the piss really.

You need to look at your defending and the fact you didn't offer enough upfront.

The guys shirt got pulled for the free kick, everyone could see it in the replay - what part of the rules are you allowed to pull shirts?

I enjoyed that tonight, Sevilla didn't have to be that good to knock 4 in.

Jaemi will make 20 posts in this thread and 5 in the thread for Celtics game on Thursday.

First thing is first, ref/officials were a shambles. Was a stonewall pen. Sevilla headed the ball out for a corner...then he gave a goalkick. Free kick that led to their first goal was soft as. He didn't have a clue. He booked the Sevilla guy for diving in the box, why didn't he book Naismith if it wasn't a pen?

Anyway, I thought we played decent in spells. First half we gave as good as we got, hell even after they went 1-0 up we were still playing well. 2-0 killed the game and we lost it, big time. Basic defending mistakes like not tracking the runners and 2 defenders going for the same ball (leaving a player unmarked) and so on. Whittiker cost us 2 goals.

Davis played well I thought.

We had plenty of chances, so did they. They were a lot more clinical than us obviously.

It was a good game in the first half but the ref ruined it. What bothers me, is that, they weren't even that good.

Bougherra was shite for you's tonight, worst game for Rangers. Thought Rangers had the better of the first half and the first goal killed it for yous. Once they scored Rangers never looked like getting back in it.

We flattered to decieve in that game, and we got beat 4-1.

Perhaps things would have been completely different if we had a penalty awarded, but it didn't. We have to just live with the human error aspect of the game.

The freekick was very soft, and the entire rangers squad just couldn't motivate themselves to defend if they thought everything was going against them. After that, we were shite.

Whittaker, bougherra and weir all had pathetic games. What was a solid defence last year is shite now because Davie is too slow (See last goal) and whittaker has no defensive concept of positioning.

What also frustrated me this game was when we weren't awarded the penalty, our manager should be speaking to the fourth official and putting some pressure on them, at the home ground, to make the decisions that count. He was in the stand, shouting away at nothing. Not one official heard anything from him, and they continued to officiate the game the way they started.

Shambles.
