They need to get thrown in at the deep end sometime. That's been Rangers' big problem/criticism for years, buying someone in for a fortune instead of looking for more homegrown talent.

I see exactly what you mean but if they are thrown in at the deep end....they might sink. In saying that, i suppose finishing the leauge in fourth or fifth position is far better than being unable to finish at all. Rangers have had the problem of always throwing cash at duff players with massive price tags/wage bills.

I dont think the youngsters are ready to fully populate the first team. Names like Bougherra, Mendes, Davis are hard to replace, especially with youth players who dont really have great levels of experience in the SPL and the CHampions league.

If Rangers would be able to recoup the money so easily then Murray would have put it in on his own, the fact that he isn't shows that he doesn't think the club can get back in the black without serious reshaping.

I heard a while ago (before his fake knee injury) he's defo getting punted in january i think his played his last game after him going awal (the story go's that him and his agent were trying to find another club down south)
