| Re: Rangers heading to administration? Rangers going out of business is a bad thing for Scottish football......no big pay day for the wee clubs(lke cel'ic ) when they play at their grounds. Celtic will still be paying the gate money though but basically every other team in the SPL apart from Celtic WILL feel the strain of not getting the gate cash from the Rangers fans and this could have a knock-on effect of other clubs going down the tubes.
On a similar note...how do Celtic fans feel about a leauge with no Rangers. Would it be better or would it be worse as you have no rivals to fight for the three cups? There will be some people that think its the best thing to happen i reckon but im not so sure..... |

Like zippy, I just want to see that lot have to sell all their best players, lose their manager and go through a few years of pure shite.

| Re: Rangers heading to administration? Of course it'd be a bad thing, but if the shoe was on the other foot, i'd be laughing.
Maybe Rangers can just stick on every possible set of numbers for Euromillions. There must be some gain in doing that.
Boyd/Bougherra/McGregor/Davis/Mendes. At least 4 of them will leave in January.
This is depressing.

| Re: Rangers heading to administration? Twice the euromillions has rolled over to such an extent, where you could have played every possible number and came up in the black.
..If you where the only person who won it.

| Re: Rangers heading to administration? Thought as much........seems that people dont understand that the old firm (thats celtic and rangers....both of them) take massive support to away games........take half of that cash away from other clubs then also take away the cash generated from programmes and folk buying food and drink at the stadiums...that leaves a big hole for the other clubs that they have to try and fill....but where are they going to get the missing cash from. Can anyone answer that? |

They wouldn't be utterly lost without them.
You had a small point, albeit one that was made before but don't take it too far.
Celtic dont NEED Rangers.

Celtic dont NEED Rangers. | Jaemi.....im not talking about Celtic needing Rangers...imk talking about the OTHER eight clubs in the SPL.....they need the revenue generated from playing Rangers at each of their home grounds. Where will that cash come from if Rangers arent paying it?
Tbh if the roles were reversed and it was Celtic looking like they could go out of business i wouldnt want that. The Scottish game is bad enough without losing one of the top teams...its not like the league is contested by four or five teams each season like in the EPL....its always Rangers and Celtic that battle it out for the top spot.
The Scottish game isnt about Rangers and Celtic jaemi...its about ALL of the ten teams in it. |
