| Left With The Bill.. So a couple of weeks ago after 5's I'm sent to book a pitch for the following week.
Then, over the next couple of days people drop out.
As the time approaches we've got a few people saying "aye", then on the day only 4 people turn up (to college) with their stuff.
You're not allowed to cancel the pitch on the day, and now I'm left with a £50 bill to pay for a pitch.
Am I in the wrong to kinda expect the regulars to say "here's a 5er/10er towards the pitch mate"?
Really fucked off.

"i'm not paying for a pitch I didn't use" seems to be thier argument.

| Re: Left With The Bill.. definitely! stewart had to pull out of a game of 5s once and gave the guy his share of the bill without having to be asked - if they don't offer it then chase them up. |

So why should you pay the £50, when they asked about booking the pitch?
Edit: If you've got it, show them the receipt

| Re: Left With The Bill.. In my work, we pay upfront when we say we are playing.
So.. the email goes out the week before, and you pay then... so your always paying for the week in advance. Guess it doesn't suit if your only having a one off game though.
