Evening folks.
As you know, i organise who's playing every week and take a hand in booking the parks and things. It's getting a bit difficult of late so I'm going to have to ask a few things to make it easier in the future.
As regards who plays every week, i currently send texts a few days prior to the game to those who played the week before and thus get first refusal. Could everyone note that i really need a swift response on this. Currently I'm always left chasing a few folk right up to the thurs morn in some cases. I really need as early a confirmation as possible on this so that i can get numbers sorted. The reason i send texts is that it's the easiest form of communication for me, and everyone else. I appreciate that folk don;t have money in the phone and stuff like that... so anyone in this instance needs to email me. Don;t post that you're playing here, don't tell Tam, don;t tell the other guys. it's ME that needs to know. There are large chunks of the day i don't get near the forum at all but I always check my mail every day once at least. If anyone needs my number or email address then drop me a pm and we'll sort that out, but I can't be doing with chasing folk around.
As regards booking pitches for 11's games... As Tam pointed out some folk would prefer the games were played on days other than wednesday nights. Currently this is the best I'm able to do with the options I have available to me. if this doesn't suit then I'm always open to alternatives. IF you can book a more suitable venue, please do and then let me know about it.
This isn't a rant, i'm not pointing fingers at anyone but I really do need folk to pull a bit of weight on this as I don;t have enough hours in my day to sort all this out as it is.
