What would you guys like to see in Freshers' Week 2007?

Here's a few for starters:

Royksopp
Pendulum
Jazz/comedy/burlesque cabaret type night
Spice Girls to reform
To cover every surface in giant bubble wrap so it doesn't hurt when you fall down drunk and can have lots of fun popping it

The bubble wrap would be a good idea. But then there'd be fights as to who got to pop the remaining bubbles.

Rage Against the Machine playing Rev would be cool.

how about a GIANT pillow fight in qudos? Bring your own pillows

(though obviously we'd need someone to check them to make sure no one hid a brick in one...

Purring kittens to be given out for the first 200 Freshers at club nights/bands.

Okay, vaguely serious one. Can we have an affliated Clubs and Societies/not at all sporty types at the QM night to coincide with the GUSA one at the GU now we don't really have a Wednesday club night?

This is why I did not run for Freshers Week/E(ve)nts convenor.

Shit I totally forgot to make this post BUT i was wondering if the QM is willing to give some spots in freshers week to GOOD DJS who play GOOD STYLES of music?

I've been interested in arranging something in the QM for a long time and the rumor is GU are already arranging a breaks/DnB night..
I heard the food factory area was used as a venue not too long ago, could this be done again?

The QM must showcase its own talent at Freshers night. IT MUSSSSSSST.

Cause while I'm not in charge of freshers' week, I'm trying to organise something along those lines for the rest of the year post-FW, which could mean launching something in FW is so need be.
