Especially when compared with EA, who despite being a distributor for some really good games, doesn't have the greatest in-house game creation staff. We're not talking SCEE/SCEA here, we're talking freaking EA - grand producers of shite. | EA essentially stole the engine for Generals from Real War didnt they?
I cant hate them too much, they released NFSMW
Outof all the C%C's id have to say Tiberium Sun was my least favourite, I just didnt like the universe its set in very much, far preferred the original and the RA series
I'll buy it regardless though, out of monkey brand loyalty

| Re: Command and Conquer is back! Tiberium Wars! Ah, good ol Need for Speed - programmed by Distinctive Software, merely marketed and published by EA...yet another decent game they've published...that they're using an in-house production company for the C&C series makes me all ick inside.
All the WW talent went to Petroglyph - I've kept in touch with a couple of the guys that went over to EA (including original programmers from the first C&C / Dune 2) and they're all in office jobs out of the programming or C&C lines.
It's kinda like Thief III - only Looking Glass Studios could do it properly, once it went over to someone else they just slapped the Thief realm onto the Deus Ex 2 engine and it was occasionally painful and uninspired. |

| Is there perhaps another EA out there that I don't know about? One that doesn't get sued continually by its employees for unfair employer practices, 3rd world gold-farmer-esque working conditions, and churns out year after year of fucking Madden NFL 1994-2006?
If you're talking about a different EA, then we can chat good game creation - till then, I had to go back to 93 to find an original interesting game by Electronic Arts (in the form of Mega Drive's "Road Rash") |

And frankly I'm not concerned who makes the game if its still a good game. aye EA makes a lot of similar sporting games, but they seem to sell well. I'll reserve judgement til I've seen the results.

Also...
EA released "Command & Conquer: the 1st Decade" on February.
Which includes:
-Command & Conquer™(Aug. 1995)
-Command & Conquer The Covert Operations™ (April 1996)
-Command & Conquer™Red Alert™ (Oct. 1996)
-Command & Conquer™ Red Alert™The Aftermath™ (Sept. 1997)
-Command & Conquer Red Alert Counterstrike™ (Mar. 1997)
-Command & Conquer™Tiberian Sun™ (Aug. 1999)
-Command & Conquer™ Tiberian Sun™ Firestorm (Feb. 2000)
-Command & Conquer™ Red Alert™ 2 (Oct. 2000)
-Command & Conquer™ Yuri's Revenge™ (Oct. 2001)
-Command & Conquer Renegade™ (Feb. 2002)
-Command & Conquer™Generals (Feb. 2003)
-Command & Conquer™ Generals Zero Hour (Sept. 2003)
Rather awesome, I'd love to play the original C&C on the PC again.
