I'm a GDI player through and through, ever since I built that first mammoth tank and rolled straight through a noddie line with it. And who can resist the ion canon?

And who can resist the ion canon? | GDI FTW in Tiberian Dawn, but how in the hell can you really justify the GDI in Tiberian Sun? I don't care if they get Juggernauts in Firestorm TBH, Cyborg Reapers + Devil's Tongues + Cyborg Commando + Artillery = best. Nod is far and away the better side in TS, and certainly in FS since the reapers are a better addition to Nod's arsenal than the Juggernauts to GDI's (especially considering in the single player in FS they stop giving all artillery units "anything dead in 2 hits" power - unless you're facing Nod of course).

| Re: Command and Conquer is back! Tiberium Wars! I've not played as NOD yet, but they don't seem as tough as the GDI do this time around, especially with the railgun addon for the Mammoth Tank. I love the Mammoth
The Scrin seem like the best side in the game, after giving them a whirl in skirmish!
I'm just waiting for someone to mod in walls so I can go at skirmish quite happily. A mod to add in the Mammoth MkII and all other TD/TS units would be nice too, since TW seems quite thin on the units front. |

| Re: Command and Conquer is back! Tiberium Wars! nah man an army of 6 or 7 beam cannons can effectively destroy a mammoth tank in say about 3 seconds.
as GDI i found it good and challenging, but as nod, i found it easy and i zoomed through the missions.
completed both nod and GDI campaigns, and the scrin im on mission 2.
i like the fact that both campaigns unlike prev games, run in twine with each other, its all one story line.
and i cant wait for the expansion that is surely to follow. |

| Re: Command and Conquer is back! Tiberium Wars! Downloaded the demo from XBLA there, liking it so far but the controls are understandably a bit fucked up on a console. |

| Re: Command and Conquer is back! Tiberium Wars! I gave up on this game after playing through the GDI missions.
It just doesn't have the same charm or gameplay as the original(s) |

| Re: Command and Conquer is back! Tiberium Wars! I've only just been able to start playing this in the last few days, but boy am I impressed! And with the most recent patch you can even go back to classic C&C controls as well!
The expansion btw is called Kane's Wrath and fills us in on the Brotherhood's progress after the second tiberium war, right through the third one and beyond. Natch the focus is on Nod, but that's no bad thing. It will be very interesting to see how this goes - it's one game I'm looking forward to as much if not more for the story than for the game itself.
