| Re: Nintendo Wii megathread. More info than you can shake several sticks at. Is it an actual pre-order or is it a 'place in our Wii order queue', which was what they were advertising when I was in on Monday, but which doesn't guarantee getting a Wii on the launch day. |

| Re: Nintendo Wii megathread. More info than you can shake several sticks at. Aye. I was hoping for a NES or N64 Zelda game and at least one version of Mario Kart.
I'll still be downloading Sonic and a few other games out of that lot though. |

I think the VC titles are nicely staggered so they can do further releases down the line...I mean would you prefer they just drop all the big names right at the start?
Nintendo has classically had 10-30 strong titles for their systems with each release...if the N64 VC offering had come outta the gate with Mario64, both Zelda games, GoldenEye, and Conker's Bad Fur Day - would you really bother buying very many games after the initial release?
Combine that with them probably waiting to spawn more N64 titles after they come out with the N64-style add-on controller (Mario64's gonna be easy to map to the Wii controller....But could you see Ocarina of Time on what's essentially an old school NES handheld brick?) Quote: |

| Second listed game on that list under NES is:
Legend of Zelda.
Also - Zelda fans will be far too busy playing Twilight Princess to be bothered wanting to play anything but Majora's Mask or Ocarina of Time as an aside.

| Re: Nintendo Wii megathread. More info than you can shake several sticks at. I was including the VC in that list as well.
There's probably twice the number of titles in the VC release list that I'd rather play than on the 360 and PS3 release lists combined. |
