Fable 2

I thought Fable II was great, but was still so disappointed with it.

They need to bring in a better script writing and get a team working on side quests that aren't just;

"Here, some kids down a well, and these wee ugly chunts are gonna eat him."

It's not rocket science, really. They spend all that time making sure your character changes appearance with every action you take - but came up with most of the quests over a shared cheese and onion pasty by the looks of it.

Loved it, mind you. For sheer fun, you can't really beat it.

For difficulty, story and repetitiveness... ugh .

Reaver would have made a stoating Main Baddie.

Does anyone else think that the end of this game was complete and utter copout? Biggest anti-climax and disappointment ever. i mean, i really enjoyed the game all the way through, got to the end and was expecting an epic battle through the spire with the other 3 heroes, with a mega kickass end boss fight against lucien. but no. nothing. A stupid easy fight against a giant shard, and then that was it. so disappointing.

This. Times a hundred.

How hard would it have been to have Reaver side with Lucien at the last? Lucien and Reaver versus Hammer, Garth and Sparrow would have been great - Lucien can call his multitudes of peons to attack while Reaver slowly picks off the crew from a distance.

The Boss battle could have made an example of the fact that you were a combination of the three heroes - Using your skill to snipe Reaver in the head mid-battle, your will/magic to take care of the hordes of arse-holes and your strength to tear Lucien apart in a dual at the end.

And for the evil ending; you turn on them all and side with Lucien for that Battle, have to prove your strength by beating the respective heroes at their own game before Lucien tries to stab you in the back - epic boss fight with him and his minions - end.

I think they really tried to set Theresa up as the twat for the next one - but either of those scenarios would have allowed for this to happen at the end anyway.

Quite a few instances of Fable 2 permanently crashing 360's now. Molyneux has yet to respond.

Yup. Keeps crashing Jens xbox. i'm installing it to the HDD now, but if that doesn't work its going back to the shop tomorrow

I checked my disc when mine was freezin which I found a big giant laser burn on it an got it swapped.
