I just got an email from Microsoft Connect asking if I wanted to be a part of the beta testing for the new Windows Live service. Basically they want to integrate Xbox Live with a similar service for Windows, and have gamer tags and so on use in more things.

Should be quite interesting, but I doubt that Windows Live will enable MS to build up the same kind of community that Xbox Live has.
