| OOH great RPG idea!
it just occured to me... since many of us are into RPGing, but cant all meet up (something always goes wrong)
you rekon devising some web based system would work?
if it has to be software i should be able to knock together a front end pretty easily, and use perl on a server such as this to give us oucomes etc.

| instead of everyone trailing into town and huddling round a table for hours, we could have a similar idea as the forum to base round, say, Vampire: TM and have it generate a die roll as well so you cant cheat and its still random.
means you dont have to go out, but you miss out on the social drinking part

| I used to roleplay years ago but never got the chance to really get into it as the group I was with broke up. I would feel like a complete novice but would love to join a forum based RPG.

theres also a group of us who intend to do real rpg's in person (Vampire:TM) if your familiar with it or interested.
if we wanna do it on here it means developing a system, which could take a while cos everyone i know who'd be involved is a lazy bugger

| i've only started it so i dont know mucha bout i, i have the general idea but they use a different system from the book, using D10 instead of D6, so it should still be similar.
if you want i can scan the introduction book for you tommorrow?

| well it really wont take me that long, cant have more than 50 pages to scan, store as pictures, and upload here...
and it prevents me doing any real work.

| The Hunter: The Reckoning campaign I'm playing in just now might be ending up soonish..depends how the ST feels...damn good story but hes unsure wether he wants a definate ending or not though...
Im planning a Vampire to follow it up..ive caught the roleplay bug again. As its an existing group i dont want just any bugger coming along but a few of us are forum members and i think it would just be us, and not the whole group taking part.
