| PS2 Games My Dad recently bought a PS2 for us all to play when we're at home and stuff, but said games were up to me. What games would you recommend that would be good for the whole family to play. Not like fighting games and stuff like that, but fun/entertainment ones or sport ones. Any help would be great, I've nae idea.

| Re: PS2 Games I'm thinking about the singstar ones, they're a possibilty. We have one of the buzz games which is good fun. Will look at the other ones.
I don't suppose anyone knows which of the Tiger Woods games has Turnberry on it? I know at least one of them does but nae idea which.

| Re: PS2 Games The Courses
Edgewood Tahoe: This course’s final two holes border Lake Tahoe, offering scenic settings that either soothe the pain of a terrible round or allow you to enjoy the perfect ending to a great game. Watch your second and third shots after the tee on all the holes: the fairways narrow close to the greens, requiring you to aim just right or wind up in the rough. Eight holes feature water traps, and tall pine trees provide extra challenge throughout the course.
Emerald Dragon: This fantasy course is set near Mt. Fuji, but its majestic setting won’t help golfers easily frustrated by an abundance of water hazards, large rocks, buildings and a variety of flora.
Harbor Town Golf Links: Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus designed this course, which features narrow fairways lined with trees and small greens. You’ll need plenty of skill to finesse the ball into a putting situation. And watch out for that 18th hole: it can ruin an otherwise successful round.
Pebble Beach Golf Links: One of the most famous courses in the world, Pebble Beach hugs the California coastline. It’s a beautiful place to play golf, of course, but sometimes the Pacific Ocean just seems to draw the ball to it like a magnet.
Red Mountain: The other fantasy course in the game, these Australian links lie among the rolling hills of the outback, where many of your shots and putts will find themselves going up- or downhill. The canyon on the 13th hole might remind you of a miniature golf course, and a few holes boast large water hazards.
Sherwood Golf & Country Club: Nicklaus also designed this course in southern California. It features plenty of streams and unique rock formations that make every round played there a challenge. The 18th hole features a stream and waterfall protecting the front of the green, so make sure you go for the long shot as you approach it.
St. Andrews Golf Links: Dating back to the 15th century, many call this course “the home of golf.” It’s full of sand bunkers — 112 of them, to be exact — and its greens are very large, which often means you could be in for very long putts. Try to keep your shots to the left.
TPC at Sawgrass: This Florida course serves up water hazards in almost every hole, including the 17th, where the green sits on an island. The greens are small and the fairways jut out at odd angles, so aim carefully and try not to hit the ball as hard as you can, or you might wind up in the rough, or the drink, more often than you’d like.
The Links at Fancourt: Legendary pro golfer Gary Player designed this South African course, where beautiful beaches and rock cliffs line holes designed to test you in different ways. Watch out for the huge green on the second hole, where a bunker in the middle waits to trap the unfortunate.
Troon North — Monument Course: The “Monument” in the name comes from the monolithic rock formation sitting in the middle of the fairway on the third hole. That’s just one of many challenges that await you in this course set in the Arizona desert.
Turnberry — Ailsa Course: This Scottish course sits along the coast, where the wind can whip in unexpectedly, killing a beautiful shot, and the ocean has been known to swallow a few errant balls. Watch out for the final four holes, which can easily turn a great game into an awful one. |
