I got back to the flat yesterday to find that my flatmates had made a joint venture to complete it on Hard. Couldn't have been happier.

The Halo theme on 360 is the balls. I would pump Steve Vai and O'Donnell for this if they didn't have top of the line security watching them now.

But aye, this game is so much more solid than GH2 on expert. Managed to complete the coop but most of them are only 3 stars.

I hadn't played guitar hero until i got 3. Expert nae chance, might manage the odd song on hard after a lot of practise

Am gettin GH2 for christmas of ma bro

He actually had 3 lined up for me until i told him i already had it "BUT GET ME 2!" - so iv got the extra guitar and some new songs to play!

I can play through the game on normal mode now, finishing every song.
I cant get past about 15% of fire and flames mind.
I can get Rise against bonus song done to 99%!!!! Bloody thing, one note wrong!!

Finally got through to the end of Hard (Proud moment), but fucking hell, i can't seem to do the final battle. Hard as fook!

That's where I'm at...5*'d everything on hard (except most of the final tier and that goddamned Muse song) - can't beat Lucifer. And on Expert I've been banging up against The Metal (but 4-5*ing mostly everything else..weird) for the last couple of days.

I do believe that's the frustrating thing about GH3..inconsistently difficult songs. (Well, that and having to use an actual guitar pick wedged in the detachable neck of my controller so I can actually play on hard/expert without the orange or green buttons disappearing mid-song)

No, i 3* them all. I'm rubbish, just had to practise some of the songs on the last tier. Raining Blood and One mainly.

I really enjoy playing GH though Just frustrating trying to do thae last battle.

Aye, The Metal and Knights of Cydonia seem to be unusually difficult for the levels that they are on.

I still can't complete KoC on Medium Or the Slayer one, but the solo in that is just stupid.

Raining Blood was the only song on medium (asides from Dragonforce) that took me a few tries to 5*..no rhyme or reason to it either.

The ha-ha funny bit is doing Through Fire and Flames a few times on Hard then playing the Medium version...it feels painfully painfully slow at that point.

Im stuck on Expert still
Can complete Muse, QOTSA and Disturbed but not Slpiknot.. I got to 99% and failed it

Stuck on same song in set 7 Expert, but I tip my cap to you sir - I'm solidly stuck at 77% (mostly as it's a new concept...similar to how 3's&7's mixes up the 3-note chords...just training muscle memory to respond to what's seen on screen)

--edit. 94% before my hand gave out. No more tonight. I'll beat that fucking song in the morning.

I can't do most of the higher tier on Hard. My hands just get tired far too quickly.
