Completed Slipknot today finally! And cult of personality was a breeze once I knew where to use the star power to get me through.
Think slayer shall be skipped for now...

| Re: Guitar Hero III Scratched the disk something fierce. No more GH3 for a while.
Rock Band's getting bought when I get my new flat sometime next month (nae room in current), and I picked up GH2 for 360 for the extra songs over my PS2 version. *sadface* |

| Re: Guitar Hero III I started playing this at Christmas and I was really fucking shite. Now not so bad. Completed easy and normal mode. Now on hard. My whammy bar is broke though, fuck knows how it happened so when i'm battling Tom, Slash or the Devil and if they break my whammy bar, i'm fucked and thats it game over

| Re: Guitar Hero III Is it just me, or is that Tom Morrello cunt harder to beat than Slash? Took me fucking ages on medium. I'm on the battle with the Devil on medium just now then I'm gonna give the hard mode a go.
I reckon Slayer is actually harder than DF. My attempt at Raining Blood on easy was a joke. Managed to finish it but only hit like 82% of the notes. I got 95% on Through The Fire And Flames on medium, despite having a retarded pinky, which I was pretty chuffed with.

What I found happening to me was sustains would suddenly quit in the middle of holding them, and certain buttons wouldn't respond all too well.
This is caused by the looseness of the contacts and the motion of the detachable neck against the body. To fix, I wedged some paper in the neck of the guitar (I was originally using two guitar picks for "coolness" factor, use whatever ya like really) |

| Re: Guitar Hero III [quote=yaGster;3235332]Play both on Hard mode then report back on what is easier, though I suspect this make take some time, as you will be too busy eating your words. If I hadn't seen videos of it TTF&F being done on Expert I'd have said it was impossible.
Nae bother from the old wireless guitar on the PS2 thus far, which has been a pleasant surprise, since I expected it to be fairly glitchy.

| Re: Guitar Hero III Tom Morello is so much easier than Slash on any setting. Slash whooped me for ages on Hard, to the extent that I hurled my guitar at the television. I hate being beaten by computers |
