Tom on Expert - easy (you get all the combat powerups first, he goes down fast)
Slash on Expert - ow. ow. ow. Unbeaten by me atm.
Took on Fire and Flames on Hard Co-Op the other weekend..surprisingly easy. Must remember to check it out on Expert at some point, difficulty was not that hard in Co-Op compared to solo Hard mode. |

This is caused by the looseness of the contacts and the motion of the detachable neck against the body. To fix, I wedged some paper in the neck of the guitar (I was originally using two guitar picks for "coolness" factor, use whatever ya like really) | Yeah same problem with mine... i'll try the paper in the neck thing!
cheers man!

Nae bother from the old wireless guitar on the PS2 thus far, which has been a pleasant surprise, since I expected it to be fairly glitchy. |
Ok, you're right
I tried TTF&F in the practice mode on Expert...hit 48% of the notes which was just sheer luck. Aced Raining Blood on hard (well, I only got like 80% but I still managed to finish it), just took me a while to figure out the solo (or whatever the fuck it's supposed to be).

Undecided as to whether or not being a musician is a help or a hindrance or makes virtually no difference whatsoever.
I bet non-musicians don't scream "FUCK OFF, HE WAS PLAYING ANOTHER NOTE THERE!" at the telly half as often. |

| Re: Guitar Hero III Made my way to the slipknot/disturbed section on HARD at the moment.. which is further than i thought i would manage. Can manage some of the easier songs on expert.
Got a plectrum jammed in the neck

| I run into that problem on lower difficulty levels, especially with songs I know how to play on guitar, or when returning to lower difficulty levels from things I've mastered on Expert/Hard |

| Re: Guitar Hero III Good luck with that, 3s & 7s sucks. It's a horrible song. I was stuck on that for a few weeks on Expert, then vanquished Cult of Personality in a oner. No sweat. Final tier now, not even gonna attempt them shits. This game is no fun. |
