Why is it, that Europeans always have to wait months for the best RPGs?

Thankfully for Xbox 360 owners, that wait is over, as the smash hit RPG Blue Dragon is scheduled to go on sale across Europe on the 24th of August.

Blue Dragon features some of Japan's best RPG talent, including Final Fantasy writer Hironobu Sakaguchi and Nobuo Uematsu, who has composed the soundtracks to many of the Final Fantasy games.
The game itself follows a group of teenagers with the ability to control a ghostly blue dragon and other mythical spirits as they seek to put and end to the evil doers who have been attacking their town.

To date, it is the most successful Xbox 360 game in Japan, and has been awarded 37 out of 40 by the acclaimed Famitsu magazine.

I either read, dreamt or someone told me when i was pissed that even though this game is like 3 disk its actually quite short. Am i just talking out my arse?

After that RPG which involved Japanese teens shooting themselves in the head to summon powers I'm a tad wary of this one

I imagine this one has little, if anything, to do with adolescent suicide mind you.
