Wii Sports is astonishingly simple, but one of the most addictive things I've ever played.

Tennis for me.
Baseball too.

Boxing is the most physically exersive activity ever.

True. A lot of people have bought Wiis simply for Wii Sports though. It's probably the best example of how Nintendo is changing the gaming market.
It's a fun game, but for a lot for gamers, it is quite limited.

As for taking videogames seriously, I know a lot of people who would disagree. But that is another argument. Christ, I've got to end game stuff in two MMOs, that's definitely taking games too seriously.

Take it you sweated a little and were a little hyper after playing it too?

As for taking games too seriously...I get a little too angry with resident evil 4 at times, i should have a word with myself.

I've only played it a few times, it's just too much.

I start physically shaking.

After Wii sports? No. Only thing that gets me hyper is caffeine, and I stay away from that

I wouldn't worry about it. Just think about this guy.

Re: Resident Evil 4 on Wii

I haven't got RE4 on the Wii because I got it for Gamecube and PS and only the controls being the only difference I felt it was a waste of money. It its a great game though, but out of all the versions I prefer the original GameCube version.

I'd rather buy Chronicles when it finally comes out for the Wii. Although I have heard on the yee ol' roumer mill that when Chronicles comes out and its succesful then they may consider remaking RE2 and Nemisis. Although I think they should leave them be I would like to see Nemisis remade. But really its all about the appearance of RE5...

This might be your cup of tea then, assuming it ever gets released.

Might be a sahme but it's the best bit of advertising they could get. Millions of copies will be bought online because of it.

Yes. Look, for all the great stuff the Wii has done to the "casual/non-gamer" (ie - introduce them to this), what has it done for everyone else? I pretty much only use my Wii now for the ol' SNES games offa the shop. Everything else is a poorly ripped PS2 game with some shoddy controls.
Fair enough, RE4 is a very good game. Fair enough it is beautiful. Fair enough it's rather fun to play. But it's still Resi 4 that's been out on other formats for a couple of years. Hell, the way the Wii works, you can play the original disc on it. Charging £30 for a poor knife movement is the lowest of the low.

Good game. No need.

That's mostly Ubisoft's Wii team converting a bunch of PS2/XBox games to having Wii controls and not much else. I'm expecting the second proper wave of Wii games to have some form of interesting action to them

Shame that Resi 5 is going back to Zombies.
My tip for those chainsaw guys is just to make sure you're out in wide open space/far enough away from them. So in the village rather than stay on the 2nd floor in the house jump out the window and run back up the path and just make sure to try and get rid of them before the others

Argh the 1st resident evil on th GC was awful, the movement was sooooo slow. But 4 is awesome on the wii! targeting and shooting is great with the Wii controls
