Argh the 1st resident evil on th GC was awful, the movement was sooooo slow. But 4 is awesome on the wii! targeting and shooting is great with the Wii controls | The movement is exactly the same, just a different camera angle. |

Not that I really know anything about the game, other than that I was thinkin of taking the plunge and buying it, as my first proper Wii game.

| Re: Resident Evil 4 on Wii Basically, it has the graphics of the gamecube version with the addition of proper widescreen, and the extra weapons/chapters/costumes that were in the ps2 version.
As the ps2 had shittier graphics though, they haven't bothered putting the extra stuff ito the original fmv's, so that's about the only thing you'll notice if you're playing with leon in his ganstas outfit, he'll be back in regular gear in the cutscenes |

| Re: Resident Evil 4 on Wii Yes, it's that good.
Got it for my birthday, had no idea the Wii controls could be so suited to something.
Slight lack of the ability to "strafe", but there's a botch where you look one way and keep walking forward.

The gamecube version had better lighting effects, but two years on the rendering for the ps2 graphics had been tweaked quite noticeably.
The gamecube version probably wins as those huge shoulder buttons are just built for Resident Evil shooting.
I'm not really interested in the Wii version, I've murdered this game six ways from Sunday. |
