| Re: BioShock Dev Videos You can either kill them with guns, rescue them for achievements and storyline progression, or have the screen fade to black and hear the noise of yourself gorging on their DNA/materia/whatever by killing and eating them which gives you loads of resource points to put towards new Plasmids. |

| Re: BioShock Dev Videos The devs have said that your choice to kill them or not has a big effect later on in the game - which makes me quite curious about it. It's nice to see an FPS with the kind of immersion that Bioshock looks to have. |

You can kill them for a quick boost of energy, or you can play Pokemon and rescue them all to unlock more storyline and more powerful things later on. It's the tricky balance between "want it now" and "Oh, I can wait" |

It's a really good five months for games though - got those two, Halo 3, Mass Effect, Call of Duty 4 and Metroid Prime 3 coming out pretty much one after the other. |

| Re: BioShock Chat + Videos Played the demo tonight and it's pretty excellent, I love the sort of 50's feel to it. Can't wait to pick this up next week now, hopefully G-Force will be selling it by Wednesday. |

| Re: BioShock Chat + Videos Colour me pretty impressed with the demo. Had me on the edge of my seat all the way through. This may well be the best FPS since Half-Life 2.
The plot looks like it's going to be very interesting as well.
Oh, and PC demo is meant to be coming out very soon.

Oh, and PC demo is meant to be coming out very soon. | PC Demo is out in the US tonight, around midnight y'all time.
This game's getting straight 100/100 scores across the board with every major publication. |

WAIT FOR THE OFFICIAL DEMO DOWNLOAD TONIGHT AT 7 PM EDT
August 20, 2007
While there are versions of the BioShock demo available now on the web for download, I recommend you waiting until 7 PM tonight to download yours. The official release is timed so that you can optimize your system with the latest drivers that will make the game run as smoothly as possible. Running BioShock with outdated drivers may impact your performance, so if you do happen to play the demo before the 7 PM launch time, please be sure to check your system again after grabbing the latest and greatest drivers as a true measure of performance and quality.
| this just smacks me as "please dont play our demo till we let you" |
