Off-topic, most of my female friends are girl-gamers (including one that used to host an online radio show specifically for girl-gamers but she really shouldn't count as she also tabletops).
And I'm not just talking WoW, Sims, or Guitar Hero. I mean getting my ass kicked at DotA, CounterStrike, or all-night sessions playing Diablo 2, NeverWinter Nights, etc.

On topic - I've not had a chance to talk to some of these girls since getting BioShock. A girl was over at my place last week, picked up the 360 controller while I was in the shower, and I came back to find her sitting at the top of the stairs going "Umm, you play. Stairs are scary"
We've been playing through it together over the last week or so, and I've got this extra pair of eyes yelling "Splicers!" and "ammo!" and "OH FUCK DID THAT MOVE DID THAT MOVE DID THAT MOVE??"
She did, however, practically break down into tears when I harvested a Little Sister for the first (and only) time. While the girl likes Adam and plasmids, the whole "studying to be a primary school teacher" thing means I can't go about murdering 8-year old girls.

And purely for Danny's enjoyment is a picture of my WoW guild's random members at the last "Hoy, come to Vegas and party with us, bitches" party - level 70 druid and mage after some drinks. Level 70 warlock (and some other things) on the left, and I can't recall if the one on the right is still the mage class leader or not.

I'm off to go and try and get the rest of the achievements. Should be able to get 48 of 50 without actually replaying the whole game. Most the ones I missed are Research or Upgraded weapons one.

Anyone else having/had problems with the auto patcher?
It downloaded about 1/3 earlier then disconnected with the message "cannot connect to the download server. please check your internet connection" and does that repeatedly now.

Tempted to take it back and get it on Steam.
