| Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Loving the single player. Gameplay is identical to CoD3, which I have no problem with, but it does mean the same things that annoyed me about CoD3 annoy me about CoD4.
I love the missions in Pryperiat - it's nice to see an entire level focused on sniper rifle combat. Makes up for the missions where I was dying for a sniper rifle but couldn't find one. |

Managed to get as far as the helicopter landing, then I got cornered by five NPCs and I couldn't kill them quickly enough. Hopefully I'll manage to get past it tomorrow. Reckon I just need to find a decent spot to snipe from. |

| Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Best place I found on that one was up on the platform at the ferris wheel, crouching at the railing. Just watch for guys coming around the right and you should be ok. The railing seems to give decent cover from incoming. Also remember you've got tons of C4 and claymores. Oh, and when the choppers come in they're not completely synchronised so if you time it right you can get most of the dudes as they come down the ropes.
I tried COD4 the other day on the PS3. Dunno how you console boys can do it, it was so freaking clunky and unintuitive. PC all the way!

| Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare I tripped through that the other night...Claymored the hell out of the wrong bloody incoming avenues...on my second trip through I joined the sniper lead around his area, went prone, and claymored everything around the ferris wheel route to keep jerks off my back.
Shooting people through windows and flimsy car doors ftw. |

| Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Just finished the game. Damm I enjoyed that.
Can't wait for the next one. I do hope they do another modern warfare one after CoD5 - easily one of the most cinematic games I've played. |
