It’s the “coming summer 2008” part that I like about that video. Namco hadn’t announced any timings until now.

If they even think about trying to explain in story terms why the two characters are in the game, then the baby Jesus will cry. So long as they’re just kept as bonus characters for a bit of fun, like Link, Spawn and Heihachi in SC2, then it’ll be a nice wee addition.

I’d rather have Vader than Yoda, but I ain’t changing consoles for one character in one game.

My 360 really needs some SC action. VF5 is a bit rubbish and DoA4 is getting old enough that the online community around it has faded. It’s hard to get a game going over Live these days.

I like the Mario Galaxy-esque lighting effect of putting a halo of sorts around the characters (I forget the effect’s name Rim lighting … that’s it). It’ll help keep ’em distinct from the backgrounds, what with all the detail and prettiness expected of the arenas in current-generation titles.
