| Re: Age of Conan MMO I'm currently pissed off as I've only had a stock reply so far after 3 days to my "activation Key" doesn't work. It's also obviously a real issue as it's in there FAQ. I hate poor Customer Service.

P.S the gui is almost identical to WoW | Honestly, i love it, its everything that i wanted WoW to be, the combat system keeps you on your toes as you have to change your swing to the way the enemy is shielding. All the classes work really well with each other.
Yeah the UI is really similar but im sure as the addons and stuff start being made the more you will be able to customise it to your needs

When it comes to gui however, i think WoW has prooven via the addons system that Guis can be very different look but have the same use. It doesn't look like they have even tried to be innovative in that front and for an RPG MMORPG it's a big part of the game.
I'm gonna wait with this game until i see something unique about it. |

Guild cities have been done before, i even remember that stuff in basic terms in Legend of Mir!
Sieges have also been done several times.
They don't attract me anymore than raiding stormwind/ironforge. LAAAAAAAG.
I haven't seen a game with Mounted Combat though, although i've seen them talk about it in WotLK. |

If you consider that over 90% of wow players probably don't change there interface it makes alot of sense.
I have to admit LoTR:O is more or less exactly like WoW layout wise but I much prefer playing it due to the story and the community. For me it's alot more about the story than the game mechanics. Conan if I ever get on might be ok or rubbish, I just wish they would get back to me.

And that's my biggest concern with AoC, all this graphics is nice and all...but if it stops large scale content then it doesn't interest me at all. |
