| Pirates of the Burning Sea MMO
Pirates are cool, well least thats what most people seem to think now a days, we can thank Jack Sparrow for that. So a Pirate MMO was to be expected, theres already been a Pirates of the Carribean one but it's apparently rubbish, I can't comment as I've not played it yet, I have however had the pleasure to play this one. Though pleasure is definitely the wrong word.
Normally I'd review something like this after 20 levels in this case I'm not doing a review because I've only managed to get to level 8 due to the constant lag, bugs and reponse issues. I'm going to skip this game now for a few weeks till these issue get sorted and I'd suggest most other people do the same, no matter how much you want to play a pirate game online, you'd be far better playing Sid Meiers Pirates! game.
I will say that the first 8 levels would probably have been enjoyable if it hadn't been for the lag/bugs. The combat system on shore does seem rather limited even though it has some nice ideas to do with balance when fighting and perhaps there is potential as you level up but on first viewing I can't see it. Sea battles on the other hand are much more fun and I can see them being the main stay of the game. Anyway till I get a better run at the game thats all your are getting.
