EA are doing what Blizzard are doing for Starcraft 2 and releasing information on the new units a couple a week. What we have so far is pretty cool:

Allies: Peacekeepers. Basic infantry, armed with shotguns. Secondary function is a riotshield which allows them to close in on enemy infantry, and blast them

Soviets: Bullfrog. Amphibious anti-air and infantry transport. No ground attack, but devastating to aircraft. Can store 5 infantry, including bulkier units like Tesla Troopers and War Bears, but can only fire them out into the air, meaning ejection in areas of anti-air defence is suicide. So no engineering runs for the Soviets it seems, but it will presumably be the quintessential anti-air thing
Sickle: Very interesting light vehicle, has three machine guns that can attack 3 things, but due to their positioning they can't actually all fire on the same thing at the same time. Secondary function is the capacity to leap off cliffs - including onto enemy infantry, killing them. If you're retreating from a failed attack, this unit will probably be a complete bastard, using its 3 guns to take down all your weak units at once.
Natasha Volkova: Soviet Commando unit, equivalent to Tanya presumably. Unclear what her primary and secondary functions are as yet, the page on her focusses on her story role.

Say what you will about this game, it's gonna have a fucking awesome soundtrack. Yes people, there is a God - Frank Klepacki is returning for this game, and yes he is doing a new version of Hell March

EDIT: Oops, he aint doing the whole thing. He's doing HM3, and "some other songs" but details on those won't be released until next week. It's a collaboration effort.

This is from a fansite based on the pre-alpha version now that the full techtrees have been released, so everything is subject to change, but it looks pretty sweet for my money.

It's interesting to see how secondary abilities have been used to basically merge two units in some ways. For example the Allied Engineer in secondary mode is also their medic, and the Soviets get Battle Bunkers from Yuri's Revenge the same way - the engineer in secondary mode builds them. I'm definitely looking forward to this now, and will be trying the Beta anyway to get a better idea.
