Warhammer Online (PC MMO) Update

Latest news from Warhammer Online is mixed news. The game release has now been pushed back to the end of 2008, but the details for the Collectors Edition have been released.

The Collector's Edition contains the game, plus a months subscription and all this:
- Two Exclusive Gamesworkshop Figures
- 128 page hardback graphic novel which sets the background of the game
- 224 page art book
- Mousepad
- One of three different in game items depending on who you buy the game from
- 12 bonus quests
- 12 bonus character heads

If you pre-order the Collector's Edition you also get:
- Open Beta access
- Head start when the full servers go live
- More in-game items

RRP is £65, but if you order it off GAME's website before they put the price up, then you can get it for £40.

Re: Warhammer Online (PC MMO) Update

I take great delight in tormenting the tiny gamesworkshop shop at braehead.

Last week I pointlessly drove a buggy into it as people played a game.

Re: Warhammer Online (PC MMO) Update

I used to work for Games Workshop, and I still read the Warhammer novels (which is about the only thing that justifies me walking in there anymore.) It's a pretty decent world and it'll definately be a decent MMO if they go about it the right way. The trailer looks decent.
