Having real problems sitting down and playing this for any great length of time, nothing has really grabbed me the same way as SA or Vice City and gave me that "Just one more mission" feel.
Surely its going to get more engrossing right?

Having completed the main storyline, im just focusing on Multiplayer. It's much more fun and no two games are ever the same.
My bloke is currently a zombie, running round in yellow speedos, a pair of Aviators
and the biggest set of headphones you ever did see. | |

Anyone still persisting with GTA IV? I've got an over-riding feeling that as soon as I complete the missions I'll never play it again which is a shame considering how much effort they put into it. | |

Which was what happened with San An as well.

I got a "disc unreadable" error message yesterday for the first time and since then it won't play. There seem to be a few possible causes going by posts on various other forums but if the solutions suggested don't work I'm screwed as I bought it off ebay. Was just getting into multiplayer properly as well.

Balls - checked disc last night and it looks like the console's scratched it. There's a a semi-circular mark around half of the disc about half a cm in from the outer rim. Haven't had a chance to look into it in detail but there were a few people online saying this can be caused just by using it lying on its side - anyone know anything about this?
I would have thought using it standing upright would be more likely to cause such a problem (unless I've misunderstood and that's what the posts I saw were referring to).

I've still only played 10 or so minutes of this since I got it.
Just dont really have the time to sit down and spend a few hours on a game atm. Now that the euros have started, that's even less likely.

I'm right close to finishing it. Bit gutted that there doesn't look like being some glorious happy ending in the cards. Suppose it's fitting with the tone of this game though.

There are apparently 2 different story endings depending on which decision you make - I've only done one of them but have a save so that I can go back and do the other one when I have a chance..... but then Metal Gear came out...
