As I predicted, this came in the mail on Friday when no-one was home... BUT, my neighbours saw 'em coming and popped out to signed for it for me, so at least I have it now and don't need to pick it up on Monday. MRS BANNON YOU ARE A LEGEND.

I've been trying the time trials. The normal Nintendo ghosts seem reasonably easy to beat if you pick the right character and car, but the unlockable expert ghosts are hard as nails. | |

Who's peoples fav characters?
The new ones I'm looking forward to are Diddy Kong and Bowser Jr. Mind I've not played any MK except the original and 64, so new to me.
Looking forward to playing as Toad and Yoshi too.

But aye, Semp, I went online with it last night for a wee while and held my own pretty well. Randomly ended up in the same games as the drummer from my band, by pure coincidence, which was class. Quote:

BUT, if you already have them added as a Wii friend, you can send them an invite and once they accept you are automatically each other's friends on Mario Kart as well. That seems a hell of a lot easier.
For the record, I've added EVERYONE who has posted their friend code in this thread, even folk I don't know. I'm not elitist about who gets to have their ass handed to them.
We should try and organise times to get together and pelt red shells at each other. AND, ALSO, IF ANYONE'S UP FOR IT, we could all get on some kind of group voice chat thing via the internets at the same time, so we can make up for there not actually being one in the game.  THEN WE COULD ALL GO TO ALTON TOWERS. | |

BTW is the latency for the online play ok? I always imagined playing a game against the Japanese/Americans at the same time would make for some lag. Quote:
