I'm so chuffed to see Koopa Troopa that I haven't even bothered trying anyone else. With the amount of different karts and bikes, all the characters can be pretty much customised to play whatever way you like anyway. Quote:

So far I've only tried the Europe game, and there has been no issues what-so-ever, although obviously the Worldwide game is the one most likely to have issues. WE'LL SEE, hope not though. Quote:

I know that sounds a bit gay, but the design and speed is just pretty fun and exciting to play, especially on levels like Toad's Factory, Coconut Mall, Bowser's Castle, etc. Fuck sake, game's just amazing, seriously. |

I was playing against people from france, sweden, japan and the uk (I think europe and japan are the only places that have the game just now) and the game ran perfectly.

| Re: Mario Kart Wii Ok, that was cool. I just turned my wii back on and when i logged in i now have Rosalina (from super mario galaxy) It seems as if it is because i have completed a series (the 50cc) and i have a super mario galaxy save. Looks like there are 2 ways to unlock her - With a Super Mario Galaxy save, win a series of Grand Prix cups/Without Galaxy save, Attain at least 1 Star Rank for all Mirror Retro Grand Prix Cups - http://wiinintendo.net/2008/04/10/ma...ck-everything/

I've got a SMG save as well, so you just complete the 50CC to get her?

| Re: Mario Kart Wii I got her just after beating the Flower Cup, or mibbe the Shell Cup, can't remember, on 50cc. Dunno if that's because of beating that specific cup, though, or for beating multiple cups. I have a Super Mario galaxy save.
SPOILER UNRELATED TO THE ABOVE CHAT: I also got Funky Kong at the exact same time I got Rosalina, and a whole bunch of new Karts. |

| Re: Mario Kart Wii Not got it yet, but its only a matter of time before I pick it up and start kickin ass. The SNES version was by a mile my favourite so if its a patch on that I'll be happy. I was never a fan of the power sliding nonsense though so that might be a bit of a problem.
I'll need to put down my guitar hero and get out the house to get this. |

| Re: Mario Kart Wii Well I've played it today so far, it's fucking BELTING.
Will post up my friend code on Wednesday, once I've at least learnt the tracks and unlocked some characters/karts/bikes so I don't get skelpt.
BTW disappointed that powersliding/drifting has been dumbed down, now every n00b and their retarded "special" friend can do them.
