I like the Wii mote/nunchuck, it felt comfortable but I couldn't abide the fact that I couldn't seem to figure out how to brake, so went for the old trusty GameCube controller which is perfect, only downside is it's a bitch to reach the Z buttons to look behind, just not comfortable having two fingers, either hand, on the shoulder of the controller.
Is there a way of converting a N64 controller to a GameCube one?

Yeah the trigger button is your b button and is used for braking, as in order to drift you brake as you go round the corner.

I'm currently checking the world rankings and downloading "Rival Ghost Data" for various courses. Seeing the tactics that someone on roughly the same level as you uses, and then integrating those tactics with your own, is excellent for improving your game. Well, it's excellent for improving your TIME TRIAL game, when there's no items to fuck your day up. Grand Prix mode is obviously completely different, where it takes skill to get to 1st place but pure luck to stay there.
Speaking of pure luck (  ), checking my friends data shows I am 12-7 over endless_psych, 6-3 over Thermo, 3-1 over the drummer from my band, 4-1 over johnnie walker and 6-2 over Dead Forever.  <--- ME HUMPING ALL YOU CUNTS, HAW HAW HAW.
To be honest I don't remember racing any of you one-on-one except Thermo. I take it races with a friend that also involve other randoms count towards your total vs scores? That's kinda odd, somehow. |
