X-Box ( Original ) repairs.
Anyone recommend a place that'd put the magic smoke back in my X-Bocks?

It went "phut".
( It's chipped to be a media centre, so they have to be mod-friendly ).

Re: X-Box ( Original ) repairs.
It would be cheaper to buy a second-hand one, I've seen them for £30 in GameStation. And you can do a soft-mod now, no need to chip it.

Soft-mod, you say?
I paid £30 for the chip, and didn't fancy asking Gamestation to let me try out all their X-boxes til I found one that was the right hardware revision for it!
