| Guitar Hero 4: World Tour (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii)
Some details have started to emerge about Guitar Hero Iv courtesy of GameInformer's next issue:
Stuff revealed so far - More Instruments (guitar, a bass, drums - with 2 cymbals, and vocals)
- Create your own characters, instruments, album art etc.
- Create your own tracks (No Vocals though, possible storage or copyright issues)
- Upload and Downloadable content. You can upload up to 5 tracks of your own, with the limit being upped if other people like your creations.
- Bands confirmed: Van Halen, The Eagles, Linkin Park and Sublime. (Also wikipedia claims at the Drive in will have at least 1 song)
- Some sort of new input mechanic (involving see-through notes) though they are trying to patent this at the moment so not much details.
- All tracks to be Master Tracks rather than Cover singles.
- So far Wii, 360, PS3 and PS2 seem to be confirmed. (PS2 and Wii versions may see reduced online capabilities).

Why can't they just stick with what's in the title instead of competing with Rock Band? All I want to do is pretend I can play guitar, not sing or drum.
It'll be interesting to see how they price the extra instraments though. The price for Rock Band has not gone down that well in Europe.

It's taken them long enough to add the 'create your own track' feature! Sounds interesting. I assume you'll be able to download tracks that other people have created? | |

the american ones had a create your own track. check out some of the super mario or power metal stuff, QUALITY!! | |

Is that the band thats just slow shite noise that aylwyn always bangs on about cos they are whacky and cool?
I wonder what guns n roses track will be forced upon us this time round | |
