the steelbook edition is worth it tho cos i think its like 65 quid, and you get the COD1 download with that, and apparently the COD1 MS price is gonna be 1200, plus the other shit you get with the special edition probably makes it worth getting that than getting MW2 Normal edition and Cod1

Turns out they're gimping the multiplayer by making it have no dedicated servers, which means no custom maps or organised team play. Bit shite of them.

as far as i know theres going to be IW dedicated servers just not "dude on a 512 adsl connection" dedicated server on his pc effort. im glad theyre doin it tbh, from an xbox standpoint etc, due to the UTTER SHITE launches of 4 and WaW, couldnt get a game for DAYS because of everyone and thier mother running shite servers on thier shite connection

custom maps/mods is a pain in the arse, not that i ever played a single custom map or mod on 4 or WaW tho, you can still make a private server with rules and friends only etc tho which is the main thing for clan battles

itll also hopefully stop "host has left the game" which happens all the time whenever 1 side is getting horsed

ALSO Addition of FN2000 is awesome, but removal of P90 WHAT IN UTTER FUCK?

So aye, you can hear an interview here with the COD community manager Rob Bowling (skip forward to about 1 hour 40 mins). This stuff won't affect the consoles at all, but from the sound of it it's totally going to fuck up the PC community. Looks like I'll enjoy the single player MW2 but stick with COD4 when I play online. Lame.
