I really wanted to try the beta of planetside but the only way I new was to subscribe to fileplanet and I dont have the cash at the mo to do that grrr  | |

| See, I'm a bit fed up of people saying that N64 Mario Kart isn't up to the quality of the original. As far as I'm concerned, it's much, much better. The handling is probably the best I've ever experienced in a racing game, and the circuits are superb. The original is a good racer, aye, but I just find the karts don't really feel as responsive. I don't really get why everyone thinks it's so amazingly boss. You've got to give MK64 some time, but once you get to grips with it it's absolutely fantastic.
I will concede, however, that the music in the original is much better.

| I think the original is better because its the original. A lot of folk saw MK64 as a re-hash of the first, and I myself thought that, not going to deny it. But I do agree with you on the case of the N64 game, specifically the cars. There was a major elemant of challenge there due to the various weights/handling etc, I just think the courses/weapons/gameplay was better in the original.
But thats my opinion. Each to their own...
