What level are you at the mo? Im gonna have 2 weeks between the begining of january and the 16th to get my priest from 43 - 60, there aint a snowballs chance in hell of that happening.
Grinding in WoW - trying to hit 60 before the expansion comes out...chances are slim that I can do it, but gonna give it a shot

For me. GOD too much.
Finshing off Gears Of War , started Viva Pinata , Zelda , NFS C.
No longer will I be playing gears of war. Fucking hell , was playing co-up with the da , and my 360 fell over on it's side , completly SCREWING my disk.
*spit* Fuck microsoft.
Am 34 currently, gaining about 1.5 - 2.5 levels per day with 5hrs or so of play a day.
Sam - for me, it's an extension of my old tabletop group. We sit on Ventrilo and bullshit since all of us are like 30+ miles apart thanks to the way this city expanded and we all live on the outskirts. We sit, bullshit, talk trash, etc, and then take down behemoths in the endgame.
Right now it's all wsg/av premades for honour grinding since everyone in the guild but me has at least 2 60s with full everything and we're just awaiting the expansion.

You can actually pay some services to level you to 40 or 60 in X amount of days/weeks for decently cheap, oddly enough. It's ever so tempting to be honest, but it doesn't help you know your class/role.
The 1-60 leveling content is a lot of fun storyline-wise, just having to grind occasionally (2-3hrs a level of repeatedly killing the same style of monsters) is a bit of a pain.
Once you hit 60, then the fun begins.
Hell, even before 60 you can have a helluva load of fun. I'm on a PvP server and I thought I'd hate occasionally getting gangfucked by higher level chars - but generally it's a case of - I'll be walking through some lands to get to where I need to be and suddenly an arrow springs out of nowhere...poof I invis myself, sneak around to where the hunter is, disarm his traps as I go along, and then unleash hell.
Lemme say, level 32-33 rogue *demolishing* a 41 hunter that thought he could play? Hah. I /danced all over his corpse for a while.
Wrong thread Wee Chucky - this is video game playing, not music playing.

It's fun though, even though it's called 'grinding' it's hardly a daily slog. Personally I'm more of a do quests to level up rather than continually killing the same mobs, it's all good though.
The same happened to me, I lifted up my 360 one day and fucked the disc - gone are the days of the console falling off the desk and it being playable. I took mine back to G-Force and played dumb, they said they've had loads of GoW back for the same thing.Originally Posted by Densu
