Right folks, heres your chance to prove yourself !

I know more than a few of the folk here play Counter-Strike, so hows about we play together. Im planning on setting up my own server, but until such times that i can, this is how we can do it

I've registered the team-name Cathouse with barrysworld, so go register yourself as a player, then post your player name (and real name if you wanna) below.

I'll keep an eye on this thread, and as you sign up i'll add you to the Cathouse team. THen once we have a merry few we can begin.

Barrysworld will let a team reseve a server for up to 4 hours a month (2hours max per booking), then its just up to us to reserve a date and let the details (like the password) be known here.

I dont know if unregistered players can play (i presume so, provided they know the password), but if your gonna play then let us know who you are.

How do I accept or decline a Team invitation?

If you have been invited to join a Team, you will receive an email at your <username>@barrysworld.com email account. You then need to logon to BarrysWorld membership. Any Team invitations that exist on your account will be listed - you then select whether to accept or decline each one. If you do nothing, then the invitation will be displayed again the next time you logon.

Goto barrysworld.com and find "web mail" you can then log on using your barrysworld name eg bobzilla@barrysworld.com and the same password as before.

Give this a try (unless either of you can tell me if you have recieved anything on the mail addresses you provided)

bob, does it matter how many players we get, i'd aim for a six minimum to get 3 a side, but i can always try and get some bots to play as six-vs-six

Team size isn't very important unless we start playing against other teams, in which case we play our best (forbes and 5 AI controlled bots)

Sparky and myself were talking about this yesterday during one of my many 'oh look an email that requires lots of typing and staring at the screen for 30 mins' breaks from work..

the servers are solidly booked during times we can all play for the next 2 weeks..but that doesnt stop us getting together on a public server and blowing crap outta folk...if possible on a french server coz they hate me there...english scum i get called...had to sort them out for that one!! grrrr

if we just pick a time to sort out the server over icq or something like that...it should be easy enough...just gotta get a time that as many folk as possible can get online at tho...

Well we will be on tonight probably around 6pm on the UK 2 servers most likly start on UK2 094 Militia map for beginners cause I like that one.
