While we're on a console topic, I got my Mega Drive in Germany, but it plays games from all of Europe and the US Genesis versions too. Did this work for everyone, or did UK Mega Drive's not play the US versions? | |

Our laptop is the only computer which my digital camera seems to want to co-operate with, so if my dad hadn't gave my uncle a loan of the aforementioned laptop for reasons I'll never understand then I'd gladly posts pics.

For a long time the only reason you needed a converter for jap-import games was because the shape of the cartridge wouldn't let you fit it into a PAL machine and nothing to do with the coding.

Heh, my mate who lives round the corner has nearly every single console pretty much ever released in the UK since the Atari 2600. Even wierd shit like the Jaguar, 3DO, Mega CD, Neo-Geo, Neo-Geo Pocket (not released in UK), Atari Lynx etc, that other Sega console that was a complete failure...
On a side note, how ahead of it's time was the Game Gear!
