In the next month or so there will be a number of Valve products being made available on Steam, but this week we'd like to spotlight a game that is being built using the Source engine.
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic has been announced, and is being developed by Arkane Studios. Everyone around Valve played most of the previous Might and Magic games, and we're all big fans of Arkane's previous work. Like a lot of gamers, we're looking foward to playing the finished product.
We'll also be releasing Half-Life: Blue Shift on Steam next week, which will be automatically playable by anyone who owns Half-Life 1, including those who purchased the Half-Life 2 Silver or Gold packages. | I'm led to beleieve its fairly short, but fuck it, they're giving it away for free. |

| Re: Half Life: Blue Shift available free on Steam It's pretty good for the mosrt part, there's an absolutely fucking hiorrible section down in some sewers with giant beast of fucks mauling you from all sides, and the final boss is pretty shitty, but there's lots of fun bits, loads of new guns, some new beasts to fight, and much like you could do with gordon in HL with the scientists and security guards, Shepard can get other grunts to tag along with him to add some extra firepower and other stuff. |

Its not bad, pretty fun infact but the end boss is shit (I hate end bosses though! they just suck, period).
I'd be interested if it had been converted to source...ho hum |
