| Fahrenheit Anyone get this then?
I got it yesterday (and finished it yesterday). Have to say i thoroughly enjoyed the game and the fact you get to choose so much that happens. Really enjoyed the story of the game however i just wish the game was longer.
So far i've gotten 3 different endings. I don't know if theres anymore but i was a little dissapointed with my endings.
Just wondering if anyone else has it and what they think of it? http://www.fahrenheitgame.com/ |

| Re: Fahrenheit --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well i done something today i havent done in ages. I played through the entire game, g/f was working, i rolled my car into a field other day and i was off work so had nothing better to do.
This game was simple amazing the story was perfect i wish hollywood would make movies with a story as good as this. Took me bout 7 hours to complete it and go through some extras i recommend everyone to get their hand on this and play it through.
Some of the scenes at the end were so good i laughed at how much i was enjoying it fight scenes in mid air jumps, off helicopters and back flips onto trains also first time ive seen sex scenes used in a game apart from hot coffee but those were just tacky these scenes molded into the story this gets a 9 out of 10 in my book, 10 if there was a bit more freedom and if it was slightly longer.
Amazing game go play it

| Re: Fahrenheit When it's good, it's very very very good. When it's bad, it's ANNOYING AS FUCK.
I took a day on that rooftop battle(I'd say it's not a spoiler, it gives away nothing) because I couldn't bash left and right fast enough. That's just annoying, especially when you have no lives left.
And the stealth bits.
It's fucking annoying when a non-stealth game has to have stealth bits. It's not a stealth game. A boxing match can be boiled down to a Simon-like reaction game, playing the guitar can be boiled down to a Simon-like reaction game, noticing something about a dead body during an autopsy can be boiled down to a Simon-like reaction game, but for some fucking reason, they have to stick in the fucking stealth bit.
And the end: It came too fast. But also; the Internet? The Internet is a bad guy? Are you fucking serious? Oh my God. I was spending my time thinking about the one eyed bloke with the bird, going "He's got to be Odin. The bird's one of his birds. The winter; it's Ragnarok. The Mayan gods are trying to take control, but the Norse ones are trying to stop it, but they'll help you for now but the moment it's in your interest, they'll ditch you. The old blind woman? They turn up everywhere. Your guardian, your Obi Wan who will help you from beyond the grave." and so on and so forth.
Then I get "They're the Internet!" oh for fuck's sake. There's no need for that at all. I mean...oh come on!
Maybe I've just been spoiled by Neil Gaiman.
But when it's good, y'know, when it's good…. |

| Re: Fahrenheit I really liked it, apart from the ending and that it was too short! I went through it a few times and was amazed at all the tiny little details that were in it and how doing something that you think would have the slightsest effect ends up snowballing tinto someting bigger!
Overall a good game but failed by the ending!

| Re: Fahrenheit Just finished it yesterday, and I have to say, WHAT THE UTTER FUCK!
I dont want to give anything away, but there were a couple of bits that just threw a complete curveball at you, and you cant see where it come from.
Finished it with twice with 2 different endings, And i have to say, This was MUCH easier on the x-box then it was on the PC |
